(Iraq) While Obama apologises to the Islamic world over the burning of books used by Taliban prisoners in which to secretly communicate, the enraged Muslims of this world remain very silent on the latest batch of Muslim on Muslim killings which have resulted in over 50 people (mainly Shiites) getting killed in Iraq.

In Baghdad alone, a series of coordinated attacks targeted police officers and checkpoints resulted in the following:
  • Six dead after a car bomb in Shia-dominated Kadhimiya, north of Baghdad
  • Six killed by gunmen at a police checkpoint in the Sarafiya district of the capital
  • Two dead and five injured in an explosion in the western al-Mansour district
  • Two killed and 10 injured in two explosions in Dorat Abo Sheer, southern Baghdad
  • Two killed and nine wounded in an attack by gunmen using weapons with silencers, targeting a police patrol in Saidiya, southern Baghdad
  • Seven injured, most of them policemen, in a blast in al-Madaen, south of Baghdad
  • Five civilians injured in a bomb explosion in Taji, north of Baghdad
This wave of death and destruction was replicated throughout Iraq and yet, no Muslims are protesting in the streets over the actual deaths of people, but burn a few books and there's hell to pay.
